This brand new Farmhouse has been designed through a unique design collaboration
between OLD and NEW:  
Connor Homes               and               ZeroEnergy Design.  














The design will be realized by Aedi Construction,
LEED-certified green builders that specialize in "building healthy environments".

DESIGN / BUILD PROGRAM

Connor Homes utilizes panelized building to create beautiful, historic reproduction
homes.  To minimize waste and speed construction -- all while lending classical
architectural detailing -- the home will be precision-cut in Connor's Middlebury, VT
factory, and then delivered just-in-time for on-site assembly and finish.

ZeroEnergy Design is on the cutting edge of green building science, and employs smart
design, energy modeling and financial analysis to identify best mix of energy
conservation, and renewables strategies.  Solar orientation for this project has influenced
the design to ensure maximum heat gain in winter, while capitalizing on natural cooling
from the large sugar maple trees on the property.  

Aedi Construction specializes in energy efficient, healthy construction practices.  Their
smart approach to building not only achieves efficiencies in the eventual energy
consumption of the home, but in planning, budgeting and the construction process itself.
